Bad Boy Renewed for Season Two by HOT

Israel’s HOT has renewed the Hebrew-language drama series Bad Boy for a second season.

Created by Ron Leshem (Euphoria) and Hagar Ben Asher, the series is inspired by the true-life events of Daniel Chen. Bad Boy is produced and co-financed by Sipur and Peter Chernin’s North Road Company, with HOT and Tedy Productions producing.

“After the exciting journey of Bad Boy and the extraordinary international recognition, we are excited to continue for a second season,” said Uri Gal, VP of marketing and content at HOT Group. “This is one of the series that defines our vision at HOT, to create bold, exciting and meaningful Israeli television that manages to move audiences all over the world. Viewers can expect a strong, exciting and surprising season—no less than the first season.”

“The second season of Bad Boy is a natural continuation of the story that captured the hearts of viewers in Israel and around the world,” said Emilio Schenker, CEO of Sipur. “This is further proof of the power of our local stories and their ability to cross borders and cultures. We are proud to continue our fruitful partnership with HOT and tell the next chapter in this extraordinary journey.”
