All3Media International has signed a deal with China’s Pumpkin Films that will see over 30 hours of drama series make their way to the streamer.

This includes Captivated, a four-part thriller from Story Films about a young mother and her son as they go on the run from a wealthy businessman. It stars Kara Tointon and Allen Leech.

Among the other titles in the deal are the second season of West Road Pictures’ Ridley, the detective drama starring Adrian Dunbar and Bronagh Waugh, and the psychological thrillers The Cry and The Ex-Wife. The Cry, from Synchronicity, stars Jenna Coleman and Ewen Leslie. The Ex-Wife’s cast features Céline Buckens, Tom Mison, Janet Montgomery and Jordan Stephens, and the series comes from Clapperboard Studios, Blackbox Multimedia and Night Train Media.

Two true-crime dramas from New Pictures are also coming to Pumpkin Films. The three-part Des features David Tennant in his International Emmy Award-winning portrayal of serial killer Dennis Nilsen. The Long Shadow details the hunt for Peter Sutcliffe over seven episodes, with a cast comprised of Toby Jones, Katherine Kelly, Daniel Mays, Jill Halfpenny, Stephen Tompkinson and Lee Ingleby.

This new deal continues All3Media International’s ongoing collaboration with Pumpkin Films. Previously, the platform acquired the second season of Trigger Point, Black Sands, The English, The Control Room, Deceit and Angela Black.

“We’re very pleased to continue our partnership with Pumpkin Films—this latest deal will see a host of our popular recent drama titles showcased to a huge audience across China,” said Tony Ziran Tang, VP of sales for Asia at All3Media International. “Featuring world-renowned talent and brought to screen by industry-leading production companies, these acclaimed thrillers, powerful true-crime dramas and intriguing detective stories will appeal to all fans of top-notch international drama and are sure to prove a must-watch on the Pumpkin Films platform.”
