Secuoya Pacts with Eugenio Derbez

Secuoya Studios has clinched a strategic pact with 3Pas Studios, the venture founded by Eugenio Derbez and Ben Odell.

Secuoya Studios and 3Pas Studios will co-develop content for international streamers and broadcasters as well as theatrical films, “rooted in the rich narrative universe of Latin America,” the companies said. The alliance covers comedy formats, premium dramas and socially driven stories.

Secuoya Studios, which is looking to produce 30 percent of its content outside of the Spanish language, also has deals with Sydney Gallonde in France and BlackBox Multimedia in the U.K.
