Globoplay Acquires Sullivan’s Crossing in Brazil

Globoplay has acquired Sullivan’s Crossing for Brazilian audiences from Fremantle.

Sullivan’s Crossing is a beautifully crafted, character-driven series with proven global success, and we’re thrilled to be bringing it to Brazilian audiences with Globo,” said Sheila Aguirre, executive VP of co–production and distribution for Latin America and Hispanic U.S. at Fremantle. “Its themes of family, love and second chances resonate deeply, and we’re confident the series will strike a chord with Globo’s viewers.”

The acquisition marks the first time the CTV original series will be available to audiences in Brazil. The first season is set to launch on Globoplay in March 2026.

When neurosurgeon Maggie Sullivan’s once bright career suddenly unravels, she is forced to return to the small town she thought she had outgrown. There, she must face her estranged father, Sully, and the unresolved feelings she left behind.

“Bringing Sullivan’s Crossing to Globoplay reinforces our commitment to offering an increasingly diverse catalog, embracing different storytelling styles and expanding the possibilities of connection with our audience,” said Tatiana Costa, director of entertainment and news channels and content at Globo. “The series, based on the work of renowned author Robyn Carr, arrives to strengthen our portfolio of emotional dramas and stories that truly resonate with viewers.”

“I’m so excited to be sharing Sullivan’s Crossing with Brazil, a country known for its love of romance and telenovelas,” said Roma Roth, creator, showrunner and executive producer. “I can’t wait to see what audiences think!”
