Tubi Acquires Safehaven to Release in the U.S. & Canada

Ravenwood Productions has licensed its thriller series Safehaven to Tubi in the U.S. and Canada.

Safehaven was created by James Seale, based on his graphic novel from Michael Bay’s 451 Media Group. The ten-episode series was directed by Seale and Kaare Andrews and produced by Kevin V. Duncan, Stan Spry and Anthony Fankhauser.

The series stars newcomers Georgie Murphy (Gen V, Stumble) and Gino Anania (Skymed, The Porter), along with Bob Frazer (Drinkwater, Finding Mr. Right, The Girlfriend Experience).

Safehaven tells the story of high school comic artist Jenna Frost (Murphy), who finds herself in a surreal reality where horrifying visions come to life from her drawings.

Safehaven is a visually stunning supernatural thriller with a fresh young cast, terrific twists, dark humor and engaging characters, resulting in a bingeable series appealing to a broad audience,” said Spry. “This cast and crew created an exceptional independent television series that I believe audiences will love.”

“It’s been a wild ride, but we can’t wait to finally share this series with Tubi’s vast audience,” said Seale.
