Québécois Series Les Simone Lands in Switzerland

Swiss SVOD service blue Play has picked up the KOTV women-led series Les Simone.

The French-Canadian dramedy follows four women in their 30s as they embark on journeys of self-discovery. With dark humor, sarcasm and irony, they tackle love, friendship, work and family matters.

Les Simone will debut on blue Play as part of the women’s month special programming, which also includes The Handmaid’s Tale, On the Basis of Sex and Female Pleasure.

“We simply had a coup de coeur for this series,” said Lorena Josowic, senior product manager at blue Play. “We are excited to bring Les Simone to our viewers. The endearing and multidimensional characters and the great storytelling distinguish this show from other female-driven series.”
