Berlin Gangster Saga 4 Blocks Ordered for Third & Final Season

Germany’s TNT Serie has ordered a third season of 4 Blocks, which will be the drama’s last.

Shooting is scheduled to start in spring 2019 on season three, which is slated to debut next winter. The second season will be available as of tomorrow on Amazon Prime Video in more than 150 countries, including the U.S. and the U.K., and in late 2019 in another 50 countries, including Germany and France.

Season two will be available on Amazon Prime Video in its original German language and dubbed into Spanish, Portuguese and Italian and with subtitles in many more languages, including English, Chinese and Japanese. An English-language dubbed version of both seasons is to come in January.

Hannes Heyelmann, senior VP and managing director of Turner Central and Eastern Europe and international original programming strategy, said: “The second season reached over 60 percent more viewers than season one and only a few series manage to gain additional fans with the second season. This is something that is both unusual and bucks the trend in the industry. We look forward to producing the final third season for the large and growing fan base of the series.”
