TORONTO: There is a slate of more than 40 films that are being made available to the international market from Peace Point Rights, which has expanded its catalogue of lifestyle, factual and sports content.

Belle Du Seigneur, based on Albert Cohen’s literary masterpiece, is available as a 97-minute feature of a three-part miniseries. It stars Jonathan Rhys Meyers and supermodel Natalia Vodianova, who portray doomed lovers.

Mercenaries, introduced and narrated by Sean Bean, is a series that looks at the fears, motivations and hopes of today’s soldiers of fortune. The feature Iron Sky is a WWII-era piece about an American astronaut who puts down his lunar lander a bit too close to a secret Nazi base. In the series Frontier Vets, eight final-year vet students from around the world take responsibility for running an animal clinic in a remote community.

Peace Point is looking to drive sales on The DNA of GSP, a feature-length documentary about the UFC’s reigning welterweight world champion, Georges St-Pierre. The company also presents the series Superbodies Sochi, which uses cutting-edge forensic computer-generated imagery to spotlight the composition of star athletes when they perform. The slate is rounded out by the docu-series The Bulloch Family Ranch, about a family who has taken in more than 25 "street" kids to help give them a better future.
