TORONTO: The Resurrection of Tony Gitone and Please Kill Mr. Know It All, two Canadian feature films distributed by Breakthrough Entertainment, are scheduled to debut on Astral’s The Movie Network later in the year.

With a cast led by Fabrizio Filippo, Paula Rivera, Nick Mancuso, Tony Nappo and John Cassini, The Resurrection of Tony Gitone is about a man who returns to his hometown after living in Hollywood. It is produced by Black Mariah and New Real Films, and is slated to make its theatrical debut at Toronto’s The Royal on Friday, March 29.

Road Child Films’ Please Kill Mr. Know It All focuses on an advice columnist who is pursued by a hit man after she told the girlfriend of a mob boss to end her relationship. The movie stars Lara Jean Chorostecki and Al Sapienza.

"We are delighted to bring two top Canadian productions to pay television via The Movie Network, Canada’s preeminent destination for the highest quality films," said Marina Cordoni, the VP of movies for Breakthrough Entertainment.
