KOTV Distribution Appoints VP of Entertainment

Canada’s KOTV Distribution has promoted Dominic Anctil from content producer to VP of entertainment.

Anctil will spearhead the creative on all of the company’s quiz, variety and sketch comedy content. He has been with the company since 2014 and has worked on a variety of programs, including ALT, Med, Une histoire vraie, Bye bye and Pillow Talk, and is the creator of KOTV’s hit series Perfect Storm.

Anctil’s most recent development and production project for the company is Zenith, the new Véronique Cloutier competitive music series that was introduced by KOTV Distribution at this year’s MIPCOM.

“Dominic has been a key player within our KOTV group for quite some time,” said Louis-Philippe Drolet, managing director and executive producer at KOTV. “He is immensely well deserving of this role, having played an essential part in the success of many of our productions. He is very accomplished at what he does and is the ideal person to support and lead our creative talent, nurturing our new shows through the development process while maintaining our high-quality standards and creative visions for all of our productions.”
