TORONTO: Global Television has unveiled its midseason lineup, featuring new dramas, including The Firm, as well as returning favorites.

Global’s new six-part series Bomb Girls, starring Meg Tilly, will launch January 4 and profiles the experiences of five brave Canadian women who risk their lives working in a munitions factory during World War II. The drama series The Firm, starring Josh Lucas, Molly Parker, Callum Keith Rennie and Julliette Lewis, is a locally produced original, debuting January 8. The Firm takes place ten years after an attorney who, as a young associate, brought down the prestigious Memphis law firm of Bendini, Lambert & Locke. The Finder, starring Geoff Stults, will debut on January 12 following an episode of Bones that sets up the first episode of the new series.

Global will air a sneak preview of Kiefer Sutherland’s (24) new project Touch, about a young mute boy who has a unique ability to predict events. It will debut January 25, returning March 19 for its full run on Global.

The new animated comedy series Napoleon Dynamite, based on the hit film of the same name, will premiere January 15. The new series Are You There, Chelsea?, starring Laura Prepon (That 70s Show), will premiere January 18 as part of a Global double-bill featuring the first two episodes of the comedy inspired by the best-selling book from comedienne/talk show host Chelsea Handler. Returning hit series include Hawaii Five-0, NCIS and The Simpsons, among others.
