TORONTO/LOS ANGELES: Entertainment One (eOne) has inked a three-year first-look deal with Amaze Film + Television, building on the partnership between the two companies that already includes the dark comedy Call Me Fitz.

The companies will develop and produce original projects, which eOne will then distribute internationally. Projects range from TV to films that are related to the original television projects produced with Amaze. Amaze Film + Television was founded by Tez Lawrence and Michael Souther.

“Teza and Michael are exceptionally talented producers and we’re delighted to expand upon our already successful relationship with them and Amaze,” commented Margaret O’Brien, eOne's president for Canada and chief operating officer. “This deal represents eOne’s commitment to working with top creatives to secure premium content for our pipeline in the years ahead.”

“Amaze has enjoyed a long standing relationship with eOne that started over a decade ago with our partnership with Peter Emerson and Oasis International,” added Lawrence. “We are thrilled to be part of the eOne family and look forward to being able to increase the number of quality projects we are able to produce with this partnership.”
