CTV Unveils 2015 Mid-Season Lineup

TORONTO: CTV's 2015 mid-season schedule will be led by five new series and several returning hits, including MasterChef Canada, Spun Out and Motive, as well as a handful of live events.

New to CTV is Marvel's Agent Carter, a seven-part TV event that is getting a special two-hour premiere on January 6 at 8 p.m., and The Odd Couple, a remake of the Neil Simon comedy series that is due to debut on February 19 at 8:30 p.m. There are also the new dramatic thrillers Secrets and Lies, which will kick off with a two-hour premiere on March 1 at 9 p.m.; CSI: Cyber, slated for March 4 at 10 p.m.; and American Crime, which is set to begin airing on March 5 at 10 p.m.

Returning CTV and CTV Two programming will include season three of MasterChef Junior (January 6 at 8 p.m. on CTV Two); the two-hour mid-season premiere of Saving Hope (January 7 at 9 p.m.); season two of MasterChef Canada (February 8 at 7 p.m.); the 26th season of The Amazing Race (February 25 at 9:30 p.m.); season eight of The Voice (February 23 at 8 p.m. on CTV Two); the sophomore season of Spun Out (March 5 at 9:30 p.m.); and season three of Motive (March 8 at 10 p.m.). The mid-season debuts of Spun Out, Motive and Saving Hope will also be made available as CraveTV First Looks one day before their TV broadcast premieres.

There will also be new episodes of The Mentalist (January 1), Resurrection (January 4), Gotham (January 5), Forever (January 5), Person of Interest (January 6), Hot in Cleveland (January 6 on CTV Two), Anger Management (January 6 on CTV Two), The Mysteries of Laura (January 7 on CTV Two), The Big Bang Theory (January 8), Shark Tank (January 9), Grey's Anatomy (January 29 in a new 7 p.m. timeslot), How to Get Away with Murder (January 29), Once Upon a Time (March 1) and Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (March 3), among others. Beginning February 25, The Goldbergs is moving to Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. on CTV.

As far as events go, the 72nd Annual Golden Globe Awards will air live on January 11 at 8 p.m., followed by Super Bowl XLIX on February 1 at 6 p.m, The 87th Annual Academy Awards on February 22 at 8:30 p.m. and The 2015 Juno Awards on March 15 at 7 p.m.
