TORONTO: CTV has given the greenlight to a fourth season of The Listener, following a 14-percent audience gain in season three, and a second season of Saving Hope, Canada’s number one new series this summer.

The broadcaster has given 13-episode orders for both shows. Shaftesbury’s The Listener is averaging 1.14 million viewers in season three, while ICF Films/Entertainment One’s Saving Hope has averaged 1.6 million viewers.

The renewals come on the heels of CTV ordering the new series Motive, plus pilots for the comedies Satisfaction and Spun Out.
