TORONTO: The Canadian streaming service CraveTV is adding more than 140 stand-up comedy specials from HBO to its lineup.

The additional lineup of specials will begin streaming to CraveTV customers this Friday. Highlights include nine specials with George Carlin, as well as offerings with Bill Maher and Ellen DeGeneres. There's also the Annual Young Comedians Show, with the likes of Jon Stewart and Judd Apatow early in their careers. Further content from HBO will be coming to the platform later this summer.

“CraveTV’s comedy offering is propelled to the next level with seven times more HBO stand-up specials,” said Mike Cosentino, senior VP of programming at CraveTV. “This lineup can’t be found anywhere else, and features some of the most influential and relevant comics of our time. It’s four decades-worth of funny and thought-provoking performances, all in one place.”
