CBC Hosting Movie Night in Canada


CBC, in response to the postponement of the NHL season due to the evolving COVID-19 situation, has started hosting Movie Night in Canada on Saturday evenings.

A celebration of acclaimed Canadian films back-to-back on Saturday nights beginning at 7 p.m., Movie Night in Canada is airing on CBC and CBC Gem. The special programming kicked off this past Saturday with the double bill of Bon Cop, Bad Cop and its sequel Bon Cop, Bad Cop 2. Mr. Hockey: The Gordie Howe Story and Goalie are slated to air this coming Saturday.

Other films scheduled to air in the next few weeks include Hyena Road, The Right Kind of Wrong, Race, Across the Line, Hector and the Search for Happiness and Dr. Cabbie.
