Canada-Ireland Projects Awarded Co-Development Funding

The Canada Media Fund (CMF) and the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland (BAI) have invested more than C$225,000 ($172,000) to support the co-development of audiovisual content for projects involving at least one Canadian and one Irish producer.

The funding was awarded under the Canada-Ireland Co-Development Incentive for Audiovisual Projects. Five Canadian production companies will work with five Irish companies to develop Atlantic First Flight (Wreckhouse Productions, M3Tv Productions), Grosse Isle (Sienna Films, Tilted Pictures), Here (For Now) (Picosphere, Tile Media), Tara and the Humanimals (CCI Productions, Shinawil) and White Privilege (Rezolution Pictures International, Underground Films). Of the selected projects, two are documentaries, one is intended for children and youth and two are drama series.
