Breakthrough Adds Pair of Features to Film Catalogue

TORONTO: Breakthrough Entertainment is set to globally distribute the features Cubicle Warriors (excluding Canada) and Looking is the Original Sin, both of which it plans to present at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.

Led by Alan Thicke, Cubicle Warriors is a comedy centered on two finance graduates who attempt to prevent an investment bank from completing a bad deal involving student loans. The production is directed by Jeff Stephenson and written by Adam Bradley and Robert Budreau. It will make its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival on Sunday, May 19 at 12 p.m.

Looking is the Original Sin, starring Katie Boland, Maria Del Mar and Linda Hamilton, is about a daughter’s search for her mother. The movie, from director and screenwriter Gail Harvey, will make its world debut in Cannes on Tuesday, May 21 at 3:30 p.m.
