Production Head Named at Breakthrough Entertainment

Canadian studio Breakthrough Entertainment has appointed Pilar Segura as the company’s head of production.

In her new role, Segura will oversee the production division at Breakthrough. Her most recent credits at the studio have included the docuseries Hollywood Homicide Uncovered and the kids’ show Zerby Derby, among other titles.

Previously, Pilar served as partner and VP of production at Screenlife Productions from 1999 to 2004. She has worked on lifestyle and reality TV, documentaries and scripted programming that has been broadcast on such channels as CBC, HGTV, Food Network, TVO, BBC, A&E and Discovery.
