United Front to Rep Horror Film Bite in Canada

TORONTO: United Front Entertainment has picked up the Canadian digital and home-entertainment rights for the horror film Bite from Breakthrough Entertainment.

Bite tells the story of a young woman who, after going to a tropical location for her bachelorette party, succumbs to an unusual insect bite that causes her to begin behaving like a bug. The film stars Elma Begovic, Annette Wozniak, Denise Yuen, Jordan Gray and Lawrence Denkers, among others. It is produced by Black Fawn Films and distributed globally by Breakthrough.

United Front and Breakthrough are teaming up with Black Fawn Distribution to distribute Bite across Canada. The movie will make its digital debut on August 2 and will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on September 6 from United Front and Black Fawn Distribution. Bonus features include audio commentary from the filmmakers and behind-the-scenes footage spotlighting special effects, makeup, set creation and more.
