Global Content Hub by Zee, the syndication division of Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEEL), is heading to MIPTV with a lineup that includes an Indian drama, lifestyle shows and a documentary feature.

This year marks 25 years in the business for Zee TV, and the company’s newest Indian drama Jeet Gayi Toh Piyaa Morre (Against the Odds) is debuting at the market. The story centers on two rival families, the Chauhans and the Rajawats. Marriage into the Rajawats was considered a curse, but fate took an unfortunate turn and the Chauhans had to marry their daughter Devi to the grandson of the Rajawats.

The MIPTV slate also features two lifestyle shows from Zee’s U.S. channel Z Living. Altar’d sees overweight couples work with a trainer to become fit 12 weeks before their wedding. In Finding Fido, canine expert Seth Casteel helps dog owners-to-be find the perfect furry friend to suit their lifestyles.

The 4K/UHD feature documentary Life of Earth from Space, meanwhile, delves into the history of our planet. It features a combination of stunning footage and cutting-edge CGI.

Sunita Uchil, ZEEL’s chief business officer of international ad sales, global syndication and production, said, “Global Content Hub by Zee is excited to unveil our latest premium programming for MIPTV. We are offering compelling new dramas, fantastic documentaries and inspiring, English-language, lifestyle programs from our U.S. channel, Z Living. MIPTV is a great place for us to meet new partners and we are confident they will embrace our top-shelf programs. We are especially excited to celebrate 25 years in the business at the market.”
