Wattpad WEBTOON Studios Preps New Vidio Originals

Wattpad WEBTOON Studios has unveiled a slate of new original series for the Indonesian streaming service Vidio.

Produced in association with Screenplay Films, the series are based on hit Wattpad stories. Vidio has commissioned five new shows and a second season of Turn On. The new green lights mark the expansion of the partnership between Wattpad WEBTOON Studios and Vidio. This is the Indonesian streamer’s biggest regional production slate and more than doubles the size of its original deal with Wattpad WEBTOON Studios.

Turn On, which launched at the start of this year, reached a record 13 million views. Another Wattpad-originated story, Paradise Garden, has also been a success for Vidio. On the new slate are Married With Senior, Daniel and Nicolette, My Ice Girl, Mari Jangan Saling Jatuh Cinta and My Nerd Girl.
