STAR Chinese Movies 2 Gets Rebranded

HONG KONG: FOX International Channels (FIC) is rebranding the STAR Chinese Movies 2 channel as SCM Legend.

SCM Legend will spotlight the golden era of Hong Kong cinema. It will complement the SCM (STAR Chinese Movies) channel. SCM Legend will feature content from the 1970s to the 1990s from studios such as Golden Harvest, Golden Princess, D&B, China Star and others. As part of the rebrand, the channel will get a new look and feel, including a fresh color scheme and redesigned logo.

“We’re thrilled to bring to life some of Hong Kong’s proudest cinematic achievements through the SCM Legend channel,” said Cora Yim, the VP of programming for Chinese channels at FOX International Channels. “Through this platform, younger audiences can enjoy these movie classics, which contribute to the very fabric of the Hong Kong entertainment industry.”
