Shemaroo Brings Indian VOD Service to the U.S.


Indian studio Shemaroo Entertainment is launching its direct-to-consumer OTT platform ShemarooMe in the U.S.

Launched in India earlier this year, ShemarooMe delivers more than 2,500 titles across Bollywood, regional, devotional and children’s content.

Pricing begins at $4.99 per month or $49.99 each per year in the U.S. for customizable, individual plans. All categories are available in the all-access plan for $9.99 per month or $99.99 per year. The ShemarooMe OTT app is accessible through Google Play, the iOS app store and online, and will soon be available on Amazon Fire TV Stick, Apple TV and Roku.
