now TV Expands to StarHub Platform in Singapore

HONG KONG: now TV has secured carriage on the StarHub platform in Singapore, building on its recently announced distribution plans in Malaysia, Thailand and the U.S.

The deal brings StarHub customers Chinese-language programming from now TV on Demand, which features an array of high-quality and self-produced Cantonese lifestyle programs; now Baogu Movies, a movie channel that showcases first-run Hong Kong films and Asian blockbusters; and now Mango, featuring top-rated variety shows that spotlight A-listers from the region. Also part of the agreement is now HaiRun, which offers Chinese drama series.

Janice Lee, PCCW’s managing director of TV and new media, said, “Singapore is one of the most important Chinese-language markets in our overseas distribution roadmap and we are glad to have StarHub, the largest pay-TV operator in Singapore, as a partner.
