Netflix Bolsters Slate of Korean Shows

Netflix has revealed a new slate of Korean shows, with series ranging from reality to crime and sci-fi to romantic dramas.

Among the new offerings, Rugal centers on a promising police detective in the violent crimes unit who was suspected of murdering his own wife and becomes a human weapon with a mission to take down the terrorist group ARGOS. Choi Jin-hyuk and Park Sung-woong star.

Time to Hunt is set in a hopeless dystopian city, where Jun-seok is released from prison and plans his next step in life in order to start anew with his friends Jang-ho, Ki-hoon and Sang-soo. Extracurricular is a story of high school students who have chosen a life of crime to earn money and those who are threatened by extreme risk as a result. The King: Eternal Monarch is a romantic fantasy drama about the relationships of the people from two parallel universes.

Also coming to Netflix is It’s Okay to Not Be Okay, about an unusual romance between two people who end up healing each other’s emotional and psychological wounds.
