SINGAPORE: NBCUniversal International Television and StarHub TV are strengthening their partnership, which sees the addition of Universal Channel, Syfy and E! on the platform's TV Anywhere service.

The three channels will join StarHub's multiscreen service at the end of October. This will deliver to viewers the drama Chicago Fire season three, magic show Tricked season two and fairytale thriller Grimm season four within 48 hours of their world premieres on the device of their choice.

The partnership also sees DIVA and Syfy getting moved to new channel numbers, alongside the launch of an HD feed for E!

“This strategic partnership with StarHub marks an important milestone for NBCUniversal International Television,” said Christine Fellowes, the managing director of Asia-Pacific at Universal Networks International. “Singapore boasts one of the highest mobile and Internet penetration rates in the world and StarHub is a key partner for us to deliver our top-rated content to the country’s highly-connected audiences.”

“Our partnership with NBCUniversal International Television has consistently delighted customers with hit programs and compelling content,” said Lee Soo Hui, the head of the media business unit at StarHub. “With more channels being introduced on StarHub TV Anywhere, coupled with shorter windows, we can now provide the latest titles on multiple devices, heightening the viewing experience for customers.”
