MediaCorp to Host The Stage

SINGAPORE: MediaCorp is partnering with Singapore Infocomm Technology Federation for The Stage conference, debuting in 2015.

The Stage will be a trade show focused on technology industry players, giving them a platform to showcase their new and innovative technologies. The three-day event will take place in 2015 at the Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre.

MediaCorp CEO's, Shaun Seow, said: “With IT and media becoming so much part of our lives, they have become regular fixtures in the content we produce, whether it’s in the form of a TV program or a review of a new gadget. MediaCorp, too, is tapping into new technology to deliver our content to reach new and wider audiences. So, we see immense potential for us to organize this trade show with SiTF. It also plays to the strengths of Singapore as a tech hub in Asia, which is fast becoming the preferred test-bed for companies to launch prototypes. We hope that in time, The Stage will be established as one of the world’s marquee shows for the industry.”
