Kath & Kim Makes Digital Premiere

LONDON: The Australian comedy Kath & Kim has been made available on iTunes in Australia, the U.K., the U.S. and Canada, thanks to a deal secured by all3media international.

All episodes of the show, along with the TV movie Da Kath and Kim Code and the theatrical release Kath and Kimderella are now available for digital download exclusively through iTunes. This marks the first time that the show has been offered in digital format outside of Australia.

Gary Woolf, the senior VP of digital and business development at all3media international, said: "We’re thrilled to be launching Kath & Kim on iTunes, marking the return of the series to the international stage, and the premiere of theatrical movie Kath & Kimderella outside of its home market. Paul Corney (VP of global sales) has been instrumental in pulling together a launch in the U.K., U.S., Canada and Australia, working closely with Riley Turner Productions and Apple."

Kim (played by Gina Riley) commented: "I love being on iTunes cos now everyone can enjoy my yuge [sic] back catalogue."
