Jungo TV to Launch Two Channels in the Philippines with GMA

Jungo TV, through a partnership with GMA Network, is set to roll out a pair of its channels in the Philippines.

The deal includes Jungo’s live concert Front Row Channel and Hallypop, Jungo’s global network for fans of Asian pop culture that includes such programming as Inkigayo, Running Man, Call to Cosplay and After School Club, and features K-Pop groups like BTS, Big Bang, Red Velvet and Twice. In the U.S., Hallypop is currently available via Samsung’s TV Plus service.

George Chung, CEO and co-founder of Jungo TV, said: “We’re very excited about this relationship because we put together some curated channels that are going to be absolutely phenomenal for the Philippine market, which includes our music channel and our K-Pop, Asian pop culture network.”

GMA Network Chairman and CEO Felipe L. Gozon added: “We are grateful to Jungo TV and Mr. Chung for entrusting us to be the first here in the Philippines to distribute that content. That’s a lot of trust.”
