ITV Studios Global Entertainment Secures Sales in Korea & Japan

ITV Studios Global Entertainment (ITVS GE), which has extended its exclusive output deal with Korea’s KT Corp, has secured a raft of sales in both Korea and Japan.

Exclusive ITVS GE scripted and non-scripted content totaling 180 hours is available on the KT Corp IPTV platform through the renewed deal. The available titles include dramas such as Vanity Fair, Victoria and Endeavor, and factual titles Life Cycles and Rich Quick.

ITVS GE sales include that of The War of the Worlds to Channel A in Korea, which has also secured Vanity Fair and factual shows Taste of Marley and Schofield’s South African Adventure.

In Japan, WOWOW Plus has acquired dramas Dark Heart and Bancroft, season four of Poldark and season four and the forthcoming season five of Endeavor. Japan’s Tohokushinsha has picked up the third season of Thunderbirds Are Go.
