Hub Media Group & BluePrint Enter JV

CANNES: Singapore-based distributor Hub Media Group and Mexican content format producer BluePrint have inked an output agreement to distribute and produce new content in Asia.

BluePrint, which is both represented by and joint partners with Comarex, is now due to develop more than 450 hours of original scripted and non-scripted format for Hub Media’s catalogue. The deal is for an exclusive representation of all shows and formats for 13 Asian countries. The first of the joint venture’s formats will include the crime series Pinky Jimenez, the thriller Synapsis and the sitcom To Fail Is Divine.

“The changing and growing market in Asia forces us to look for better quality programming and formats, and as such, partnering with BluePrint gives us the added advantage in such a competitive market,” said Kevin Balhetchet, the CEO of Hub Media Group.
