HOOQ Brings In Former BBC Worldwide Exec as CTO

SINGAPORE: Michael Fleshman has been hired as CTO for the Asian VOD service HOOQ.

Fleshman will head up the strategic planning and development of HOOQ’s product and platform. Previously, Fleshman founded the digital strategy and development consulting firm Notting Hill Digital, after having spent nearly 20 years in CTO and leading roles for various media companies. This includes BBC Worldwide, where he led the teams responsible for the development of BBC Store, as well as the creation of new platforms for all of the company’s digital properties. He also held posts at Viacom, Financial Times and AOL.
