Global Television Appoints Director of Television & Commercial

SYDNEY: Global Television has appointed Soames Treffry, who previously spent 16 years with Fox Sports, to a newly created position of director of television and commercial.

Teffry will report to Keith Andrews, the CEO of Global Television. Andrews said: “Our industry is rapidly evolving as new broadcast channels launch and distribution platforms proliferate.

"With Soames’ lengthy experience on the client-side, he keenly understands the need for smart, cost-effective broadcast technical solutions which free our customers to concentrate on their primary business of captivating audiences.

"He will be a terrific addition to the Global team as we expand our range of services and enhance value throughout the production chain."
