Expanded Distribution for ANIPLUS

SINGAPORE: The anime network ANIPLUS has clinched deals to expand to Thailand and the Philippines.

In Thailand, CTH will carry the network beginning this June. In addition, content aggregator Mediaplex International will distribute a one-hour ANIPLUS branded block on DTT platform Now26 beginning in May. The free-to-air block will air weekends, launching with Attack on Titan: Junior High, Knights of Sidonia and Kantai Collection, among others. These titles will also be available for catch up on OTT platform DOONEE. In the Philippines, Omnicontent Management will distribute ANIPLUS nationwide.

ANIPLUS is set to feature four new shows available day-and-date with the Japanese launch this quarter: Kiznaier, Bungo Stray Dogs, ENDRIDE and Big Order. The channel is available on platforms in Malaysia, Korea, Indonesia and Singapore, as well as on regional OTT streaming platforms iflix and HOOQ. It is operated by Plus Media Networks Asia.
