South Asian OTT service Eros Now has launched Eros Now Quickie, with more than 50 short-form series slated to roll out by next year.

Each of the Quickie shows will be between 8 and 10 minutes in length, with 6 to 8 episodes each. They will feature culture-driven fiction and non-fiction stories that span such genres as comedy, docudrama, travel and food.

The first two series, Date Gone Wrong and Paissa Fekk Tamasha Dekk, premiere today. The former is an anthology of quirky stories about bad first dates, while the latter celebrates the prankster in everyone.

Ridhima Lulla, the chief content officer at Eros Group, stated: “Eros Now Quickie reiterates our commitment towards providing real value to our audiences by creating unique and original concepts that engage and stand out. We want to continue developing compelling content, expand audience engagement and add novelty to the platform by refreshing the service continually. Quickie is yet another initiative towards our promise of a one-stop destination for all entertainment.”
