SINGAPORE: Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific and Tourism Malaysia will continue to collaborate on projects focused on promoting the country internationally.

One such project is Revealed: Malaysia’s Majesty—Twice a King. The hour-long doc will chronicle the installation of DYMM Sultan Abdul Halim Muadzam Shah from the state of Kedah as Malaysia’s 14th king. He makes history as the first person to assume the throne for the second time. The agreement also includes the extension of the Passage to Malaysia campaign, with new episodes to be hosted by Denise Keller. The show will premiere on TLC in conjunction with Malaysia’s Merdeka celebrations this August. The Passage to Malaysia travel series provides a look into the country’s unique culture, traditions, people and history through the eyes and experiences of the host. Vignettes for the show will air on Discovery Channel and TLC in select markets.

Tom Keaveny, the president and managing director of Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific, said, “We are pleased to work together once more with our valued partners Tourism Malaysia, to chronicle a historic event in Malaysia’s history, and to continue to bring our viewers everywhere the best of what the country has to offer through our high-quality brands.”
