CJ ENM Names New Leaders for TVING, Mnet Plus

Choi Ju-hui has been tapped as CEO of the Korean OTT platform TVING, while Kim Ji-won has been named head of the Mnet Plus business at CJ ENM.

Choi Ju-hui, the first female CEO in the Korean OTT industry, was previously at the online fashion platform W Concept and luxury e-commerce platform Trenbe. She previously managed the business strategy for Asia at The Walt Disney Company, including Disney+’s Korean launch. Kim Ji-won’s career has included roles at Samsung Electronics, LG Electronics and NCSOFT.

TVING is South Korea’s leading OTT service. It was launched by CJ ENM in October 2020. Mnet Plus was launched last year, delivering K-pop content.
