The new live-streaming OTT platform Sportsfix has secured the rights for Chinese Super League (CSL) in Malaysia.

The ASEAN-focused OTT service delivers the best local, regional and international live, VOD and news sports content to mobile devices via Sportsfix.tv. In addition to airing live matches of the Chinese Super League, Sportsfix covers the Toyota Thai Premier League, LIGA 1 Indonesia, K League Classic (Korean Football League), Philippine Basketball League, Bangladesh Cricket and a host of MMA leagues from across the world.

Marcus Luer, executive chairman of Sportsfix, said: “We are very excited to add the Chinese Super League as one of our key content partners. Our service is very focused on football fans and the CSL is one of the most exciting leagues in the world right now. We could not have asked for a better way to kick off then with a top of the table clash—Shanghai SIPG vs. Guangzhou Evergrande. This match is about two big-name coaches with Andre Villas-Boas vs Felipe Scolari as well as Brazilian National Team players on both sites with Hulk, Oscar and Paulinho. I am thrilled to watch this match on our platform.

“Sportsfix delivers targeted live sports content to a broad range of sports fans across the region. We want to become the go-to place for sports fans in ASEAN. Sportsfix: ‘your daily dose of sports’ and ‘live is life’ is what we are all about and that’s what we are delivering.”

Zheng Le, the managing director of Orientivity, the rights holder of the CSL in Malaysia/Singapore, said: “We are excited to see the Chinese Super League being part of Sportsfix and to deliver live matches to our fans in Malaysia on their mobile phones. We have ambitious goals for the league in the region and strong distribution is one key area for us”
