Chase Carey, Gerhard Zeiler & More to Attend APOS

HONG KONG/SINGAPORE/MUMBAI: Among the speakers slated for the fourth annual Asia Pacific Pay–TV Operators Summit (APOS) are Chase Carey, the president and COO of News Corporation; Subhash Chandra, the chairman of Zee and the Essel Group; and Gerhard Zeiler, the president of Turner Broadcasting International.

Organized by Media Partners Asia, APOS, taking place in Bali from April 22 to 24, is the leading regional event for TV and broadband industry executives with the intent to drive bold thinking, strategy, deals and policy across the converged ecosystems of media and telecoms. Confirmed speakers include Adam Chesnoff, the president and COO of Saban Capital Group; Harit Nagpal, the managing director and CEO of Tata Sky; Ben Pyne, the president of global distribution for Disney Media Networks; and Rohana Rozhan, the CEO of Astro Malaysia.

Some of the key topics to be highlighted at the event are pay-TV brands in the age of online, India’s international story, the rise of DTH and perspectives on Japan.
