beIN SPORT Begins Asian Expansion

JAKARTA: Marking its expansion into Asia, beIN SPORT is partnering with MP & Silva to roll out three new HD sports channels in Indonesia delivering Barclays Premier League coverage as well as other events.

As of July 1, beIN SPORT 1 HD, beIN SPORT 2 HD and beIN SPORT 3 Premier League HD will be carried on Orange TV and NexMedia, and two of the three will be on First Media. In addition to BPL, the portfolio is promising Indonesians coverage from Italian Serie A, French Ligue 1, Major League Soccer, the Brazilian national league (Paulistao & Brasileirão), nPower Football League Championship, FA Cup, FIFA World Cup Qualifiers featuring top South American and European teams, and more. It also has the rights to the 17th Asian Games INCHEON 2014
