Australia’s ABC Gets New Director of Television

SYDNEY: Richard Finlayson has been named the director of television at ABC in Australia, joining from SBS, where he most recently served as COO.

Finlayson has been with SBS for more than seven years, current as the COO, but prior to that as the director of commercial affairs. He is a current member of the Freeview and IAB boards. Before SBS, he was a director of program acquisitions at the XYZnetworks.
