ATF Reveals IP Accelerator Finalist Projects

The Asia TV Forum and Market (ATF) has unveiled the 15 finalist projects for its inaugural IP Accelerator, sponsored by and organized in partnership with 108 Media and the Southeast Asia Audio Visual Association (SAAVA).

The finalist projects were selected from a total of 101 submissions and represent seven countries.

The selected projects are City of Darkness from Mimosa Productions (China), Cucaracha from JAB Films (Singapore), Elevator from Rein Entertainment (Philippines), Masters of the Universe from Stella Stan Lee (Singapore), Mind Your Business from Genuinely Jag (Singapore), O! The Anthology Series on Why Women Bleed from Aggregate Films (Singapore), Sound System Sanskriti from Royville Media (India), Taste of Mango from Aorta Production (Thailand), The Boy in a Cage from Aggregate Films (Singapore), The Errand 2.0 from Very Tay Media (Singapore), The Red Butterfly from Cuckoo Films (Singapore), The Renegades from Renegades Entertainment (Taiwan), The Supper Club: Malaysia from Islet Studio (Malaysia), We Were Strangers Wandering Home from Wanderstruck Film Production (Philippines) and Wine Lovers from AwesomeWork Production (Taiwan).

Decision makers who will be on site include Rod Smith, VP of scripted entertainment at 108 Media; Mickey Ong, VP and general manager of CJ E&M HK (SG Branch); Samir Sarker, award-winning film producer at Magic Hour Films; Roselle Monteverde, COO and VP at Regal Entertainment; and Zainir Aminullah, CEO of Revolution Media.

The winner of the 2022 IP Accelerator will receive the 108 Media Development Prize worth SGD15,000 to develop the idea in partnership with 108 Media, making it pitch-ready for markets and buyers.”
