Nippon TV Makes Senior-Level Promotions

Nippon TV has promoted Yoshikuni Sugiyama, currently representative director and operating officer, to president and senior executive operating officer.

Sugiyama replaces Yoshinobu Kosugi, who will be taking the new position of vice chairman and senior executive operating officer of Nippon TV. Sugiyama will report to Kosugi and Chairman and CEO Yoshio Okubo.

Keiichi Sawa, currently operating officer responsible for Nippon TV’s global business development, has been promoted to board director and operating officer for that division. Sawa will be responsible for business development and real estate. He will report to Sugiyama.

All the positions became effective June 29.
