TV-Loonland Scores Global Broadcast Deals for Pat & Stan

MUNICH/LONDON, February 12: TV-Loonland has inked a raft of
international broadcast sales for the CGI-animated property Pat & Stan, including with Mediaset in Italy, among others.

The series was also sold to ARD/HR in Germany for its
children’s channel KI.KA. Furthermore, Pat & Stan has been licensed to Cartoon Network Spain, Disney
India, VOOM HD Networks’ Animania in the U.S., DR TV in Denmark, TG4 Ireland
and Minimax for Eastern Europe. In Italy, TV-Loonland has reached a DVD
distribution deal with DNC for Pat & Stan.

A co-production between French animation producer MacGuff
and TF1 in France, Pat & Stan is
comprised of a half-hour TV special, a total of 350 whacky shorts, karaoke
skits and gags. There is also the 39×7-minute series, which is currently in
production and set for delivery at the end of this year.

Created by renowned French animator Pierre Coffin, Pat
& Stan
centers on two characters who
take daily life situations to the silliest of extremes. Like two peas in a pod,
the tireless twosome manages to turn even the most commonplace events into the
craziest of adventures. The series is aimed at kids between the ages of 6- and
9-years-old.
