Turner Broadcasting Hires for EMEA Strategy & Insights

LONDON: Jamie Friend has been tapped by Turner Broadcasting for the newly created role for its EMEA business of VP of corporate strategy and insights.

Friend, who joins from Arquiva, where he was head of strategy for digital platforms, is responsible for identifying internal and external growth opportunities as well as providing vital support for the resulting investment. He reports to Peter Flamman, the senior VP and COO of Turner EMEA. Friend is based in the London office.

Flamman said: “This is a very important role for the growth our business. Jamie brings great industry experience and knowledge across a wide range of European markets in industry leading blue-chip environments. I am certain he will be a tremendous asset to our team and business going forward.”
