True Beauty Tops FME's NATPE Slate

LONDON, January 7: A
reality contest with a twist, True Beauty, from Ashton Kutcher and Tyra Banks, leads off FremantleMedia
Enterprises' (FME) offerings for buyers at NATPE.

The 8×1-hour series,
hosted and judged by TV personality Vanessa Minnillo,
along with supermodel Cheryl Tiegs and Nolé Marin of America's Next Top
Model
, features six females and four males
who will live together as they undergo a series of challenges. What the
contests don't know is that while they think they are just being judged on
their outer appearance, the challenges are actually designed to test their
inner character as well. The series is set to premiere this month on ABC.

FME is also
offering up a new Martha Stewart series, Everyday Baking, which features recipes for cookies,
pies, tarts and more. Other titles in the Martha Stewart catalogue are Everyday
Food
season five, The
Martha Stewart Show
season
four and Whatever, Martha!, along with hours of classic and revitalized Martha footage. Also in the way of cooking series, Emeril Live features restaurateur, chef and author Emeril Lagasse as he demonstrates
gourmet meals in front of a live audience.

The factual series Egypt
Unwrapped
uses the latest research
and techniques to uncover mysteries surrounding Egypt, and is presented in CGI.
Also taking a look back in history is The Unsinkable Titanic, a new film that argues that it was actually a
long chain of misjudgments, human errors and misfortunes that brought down the
largest liner of its day.

In addition to new shows,
FME has a number of returning properties to highlight for buyers. Merlin has already scored sales in the U.S., Canada,
Australia, Germany, Sweden and the Netherlands. The Australian crime drama The
Strip
and Satisfaction return to FME's catalogue, along with titles from
Original Productions, including Black Gold, L.A. Hardhats, America's
Port
, Verminators and 1000 Ways to Die. The eighth season of American Idol, season five of Project Runway and season four of America's Got Talent will be on offer as well.

FME's CEO, David Ellender, commented, "We're very much looking forward to showcasing our
new slate at NATPE and as always feel we have something for everyone. We had a
great market last year and armed with another strong slate we are keen to build
on our ongoing successes."
