TORONTO: A number of new titles have been acquired by Tricon Films & Television for its lifestyle and documentary portfolios, including Decked Out and Decked Out Challenge.

The 13×30-minute Decked Out and 4×1-hour Decked Out Challenge specials are focused on construction. Each installment follows, from concept to completion, the story of a backyard makeover with a focus on custom-built decks. The series is set to premiere on HGTV Canada this spring.

Also new to the Tricon catalogue is Livin’ Loud, a 12×30-minute travel show. The character-driven series, which recently premiered on MTV Australia and New Zealand, is a no-holds-barred tour of the what the open road has to offer.

Host Connie Diletti leads the hour-long Corpus, an exploration of what we can choose to do with our bodies when we die. The show features Diletti as she attempts to overcome her own fear of death by exploring a range of non-traditional afterlife services. Corpus recently debuted on Canada’s TVO and will air on The Knowledge Network and Vision TV.

The one-hour Racing Around the World tells the story of the Vendee Globe race, in which 30 skippers embark on a quest to be the fastest to sail around the world. The doc premiered last month of CBC’s Documentary Channel.
