TidalTV Adds Channels with AFP Programming

BALTIMORE/WASHINGTON,
D.C., August 18: TidalTV has added three online channels dedicated to worldwide
news and feature programming from international news agency Agence
France-Presse (AFP), which has a presence in 165 countries.

The channels, Tidal
Fashion, Tidal World News and Tidal Noticias Del Mundo, will include specials
from the Olympic Games in Beijing, the U.S. presidential election and coverage
of global events. AFP also will cover fashion shows as well as exclusive
interviews with top fashion designers.

AFP’s Spanish-language
news programming will be featured on Tidal Noticias Del Mundo. This news
service covers more than 31 million Spanish-speaking viewers in the U.S.

Bob Quicksilver, the chief
