The Suite Life Movie Set for Disney Channel

BURBANK: Production is to begin this month on The Suite Life Movie, a Disney Channel original based on the hit comedy series The Suite Life of Zack and Cody and The Suite Life on Deck.

The movie is slated to premiere in 2011 on Disney Channel. The Suite Life Movie is the seventh Disney Channel original movie in the franchise. The story will follow teenage twins Cody and Zack Martin as they receive an opportunity to participate in a project at a high-tech research center that studies the dynamics between twins. They soon find themselves linked with a power that when one twin experiences a sensation, thought or felling, the other twin feels it too. The newfound power brings the boys closer together, but also puts them in great danger.

The writers for the movie are Michael Saltzman, who wrote the story for The Pink Panther movie, and Robert Horn, writer of Disney Channel’s upcoming Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventures. Sean McNamara is directing the movie.
